Professor of painting in two UK Universities (Sunderland and Durham) and
visiting Professor at Timisoara University in Romania.
His work is held in many public and
private collections, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London,
the Yugoslavian National gallery and the Museum of Fine Arts in

Jenny trained at the Central School in
London (now part of the London Institute).
Her work has covered the spectrum of
clay. She made functional stoneware and designed for industry early in
her career (J&G Morten Ceramic Designs).
Later came individual small vessels,
thrown and pinched in porcelain which formed the basis for her larger
hand built pieces, one of which was selected for the 'Fletcher
Challenge' competition, Auckland, new Zealand in 1994 and another
selected for the 'Millenium Platter' exhibition at the Powerhouse
Museum, Sydney, Australia in 2000.
These larger vessels explore the theme of
organic abstraction, combining three dimensional sculptural elements
with surface texture and drawing.
