“The mission of
the Santa Cruz Mountains Arts Center is to support and encourage the arts
through education, exhibition and cultural activities, reflecting the unique and
diverse environment of the mountain communities.”
We always have a need for
volunteers, and the rewards of collaborating in our community to help make Art
happen in the San Lorenzo Valley are many.

delivery to Post Office.

coffee shops, hotels, and schools.

DUTIES |
1.
Oversee adult art classes, other than Life Drawing*
includes interview, discussions with, orientation of new teachers,
scheduling classes, getting input about scheduling to avoid
conflicts in scheduling, assisting new teacher on start-up date (as
needed)
2.
Oversee the 4-ART telephone line, garnering and responding
to calls, dispatching to appropriate person, and finding a
substitute when not available to do so.

To attend Committee meetings

To work with established procedures/forms and update them
as necessary to meet the needs of the SCMAC in serving our community
5.
To work with Publicity Committee to inform the community
about classes through various means at our disposal including, but
not limited to, our calendar and newsletter, schedule of classes,
web site, periodicals, radio and schools, and to do on-going
recruitment of teachers
6.
To strive to provide quality art education for our
membership and community through hands-on and visually enriching
experiences in our classes and workshops
7.
To gather and review data concerning SCMAS educational
requirements as a nonprofit agency |
