DOCENT VOLUNTEERS:

 

Docent Opportunities in a Creative Art Environment

The Santa Cruz Mountains Art Center is currently accepting applications from experienced or non-experienced gallery and gift shop volunteer docents. The non-profit Santa Cruz Mountains Art Center is centrally located in downtown Ben Lomond.  Traveling through the Santa Cruz Mountains, visitors pass majestic redwoods, small rural towns and some of California’s most scenic countryside. As most of you know, emerging artists, established artists, and skilled crafts people have always been part of the mountain culture and economy: painters and sculptors, printmakers and photographers, metal smiths and jewelers, potters and ceramicists, glass blowers and stained glass artists, basket weavers and textile artists. People interested in working in a creative art environment for approximately three hours per month from Wednesday through Sunday, 12 Noon to 6:00 pm should apply.
