Holiday Ceramics Sale
Saturday, November 22, Noon-5:00 pm
People love pottery. It’s useful and beautiful. So it’s hard to go wrong shopping for ceramics for holiday gift giving. Now you have a chance to get a head start on your shopping without wading through online junk or setting foot in a mall.
Small Business Saturday
Saturday, November 29, Noon-5:00 pm
By shopping at our Thomas Gallery, you’ll not only get unique gifts, but you’ll be supporting local artists and a neighbor non-profit.
Ben Lomond Tree Lighting Party
Sunday, November 30, 3 – 6 pm
Join the fun at this free community event at the Ben Lomond Fire station featuring live music, food, shopping, and a visit from Santa. The Art Center will be open until 6, when the tree lighting commences across the street.
Giving Tuesday
December 2
The Santa Cruz Mountains Art Center wouldn’t even be here without donations. The Thomas family donated our building. Over the years, people have donated equipment, labor, sheds, and more. We’ve benefitted from grants and donations that included our building, equipment, sheds, and labor—and, of course, money for special needs scholarships for needy students.
Kick off our year-end fundraising on Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is a great time to start off our end-of-the year fundraising drive, but you can give any time. If you’re able to donate even $25 to the Art Center, we can do a lot with it. If you work for a company that does matching donations, you can help even more. Click here to make a donation of any amount, for whatever purpose you choose.
Annual Holiday Sale
First Friday, December 5, 5-7:00 pm
Saturday, December 6, Noon-5:00 pm
We’re using the December First Friday to let you preview the new items our exhibiting artists have brought in. Drop by between 5 and 7:00 pm to get the first chance to snap up these gorgeous gifts. Many of the artists will be attending the next day, Saturday, from noon to 5:00 pm to meet with shoppers.
Free Family Gift Making Workshop
Saturday December 13, Noon-3:00 pm
One of our favorite holiday traditions is always our family gift-making workshop. Our talented member artists show up to offer crafts that are fun for the whole family. Show up and try your hand at something. Or just stop by to say “hi” and pick up a treat. It’s always free and always fun.
Expanded Gallery Hours
December 18-23, Noon-5:00 pm
For all you last-minute shoppers, we’re staying open every day from December 18 through the 23rd, 12-5:00 pm.
We’re also offering gift certificates for a perfect last-minute gift. They’re good for the gallery or for classes. Purchase paper certificates in the gallery, or buy an online voucher here that you can specify for either a specific class or a general amount.
