Help Cover the Bill to Cover the Deck
If you’ve ever attended an event on our back deck or worked in our ceramics studio in the Fall or Winter, you may have noticed that the roof leaks pretty much everywhere. So, to keep our members comfortable and our equipment from being damaged, we’re having it replaced at the end of September.
As glad as we are to dam up the drips, it’s going to take a big chunk out of our budget. As a small non-profit, we run pretty lean already. So we’re trying to raise some money to raise the roof.
We’re Having a Roofraiser
On July 4, we raised $337.73 selling donated pottery at the Boulder Creek Independence Day parade. We’ll have more for sale at our Ceram-A-Rama annual celebration of all things ceramic on September 21.
But, as fun as these sales are, they won’t get us very close to the $10,000 we need to cover our work areas. So we’re asking for your help. Please donate to our Roofraiser Fund. If you work for a company that matches donations, please get them involved too.
- Donations of $500 or more qualify the donor for a ceramic plaque designed by one of our talented artists and proudly displayed in the ceramics studio.
- For a $1,000 donation or more, donors will also be listed as a supporter on our website and other public materials.
- But any amount will earn you the undying gratitude of our un-drippy ceramicists.
