Honoring Women
March is Women’s History Month. And March 8 is International Women’s Day. So for the first exhibit of 2026, we asked artists to create works that honor and celebrate women. They could be famous or historical figures, local heroes, or unnamed women known only to you. This is an opportunity to recognize their lives, culture, achievements, resilience, personal pain, or acts of courage. We hope this exhibit will show our gratitude to women for their impact on the world, or even on our own personal lives.

CASH PRIZES! We are very excited to have well-known Santa Cruz multi-medium artist and curator at M.K. Contemporary Art, Rose Sellery, as our judge this year. Below are her choices for the entries that best depict our theme.
