Join the Art Center on September 2nd for a First Friday Art Tour Reception.
Pose: Aspects of the Human Figure
In keeping with the exhibition theme, during our First Friday event on September 2nd, award winning author, Helene Simkin Jara, joins us with a reading and talk about her latest book, Life On The Stand, a memoir of her time working as an artist’s model. She has collected a myriad of stories around life drawing sessions from models, instructors and participants, and her long experience as an artist’s model. Some of her stories hail from our own Art Center. Come and enjoy the diversity of artistic creations based on the figure – and “pose” with our local author.
Exhibit runs July 15 – September 17, 2022. Regular gallery hours: Friday – Sunday, noon – 5 PM.
