At the Santa Cruz Mountains Art Center, we believe every child should experience the magic of creating art. But for some families, scholarship assistance helps to increase access to after school programs, summer camps, and enriching classes at our facility. That’s why we created our donor-funded Youth Scholarship Fund—to ensure art classes are accessible to all students, regardless of financial situation.
How Your Donation Helps
Through the generosity of donors, we’ve been able to provide art classes to many young artists. In 2024, we were able to gift $10,000 in youth scholarships–the most we have ever been able to give!
That’s 72 full and sliding-scale scholarships awarded from our own fund, thanks to community support and including contributions from Wild Roots Market, Redwood Mountain Faire, Valley Women’s Club, and Ben Lomond Market, plus 6 full scholarships funded by GRO Community.

Our Current Goal: $4000 to Fund 40+ Sliding-Scale Summer Scholarships
With your donation, we can offer full or sliding-scale scholarships to make over 40 class units available to low-income families this summer. See our Youth Summer Classes schedule here.
