In collaboration with

GLORIA SENERES

My name for this work is "progressive, primitive mysticism."

Progressive signifies the sense of an ongoing evolution, and the sense of often being thematically avant-garde.

For this reason, the work is particularly my own; it is created by techniques and ideas I developed myself without the aid of art course instruction.

It is primitive because the execution of my line is mainly primal:  unswayed by formalistic conventions.

Finally, the work is mystical in content because the concepts embodied in my art work are generally otherworldly.

The major effort is to demolish humdrum down-to-earth considerations in order to build humdinger realities that do not touch the ground.  I have a strong inclination to bring to your attention as much magic as possible, because magic is creation and creation is art.
