I Have been drawing , painting and doing
sculpture for over 50 years. I have enjoyed the freedom to explore a
variety of techniques and styles, some being innovative for the period in
which they were created.
I began my formal art education at the Art Student's
League in New York City and graduated from the Cooper Union in 1948 with
honors in Fine Arts.
In 1948 I went to Paris to study at the Atalier of
Fernand Léger. |

In 1961, graduated from New York University
with a B.S. in Art Education, and then moved to Mexico with my
family. During the next 7 years, I had 5 one-woman exhibitions and
participated in group exhibits at Belles Artes Museum and the Museum of
Modern Art in Mexico City.
I have exhibited my artwork in 15 solo one-woman shows
and participated in over 50 group shows throughout the US, Mexico, Japan,
England, France, Italy, and Nairobi, Kenya |
