Simply Red

June 15 -  July 29, 2000

What does “Red” mean to you?  Does it evoke passion? Anger? Heat?  Simply Red is art that incorporates the color red in any medium. It may invoke passion or anger; portray the  earthiness associated with the base shakra; is by, for, or about red-headed people!

Colors can mean different things to different people.  Submit your piece to "Simply Red" and show us what Red suggests to you!   Work in any medium is welcome!

50 artists have contributed over 70 RED works of art, ranging from a traditional Indian floor painting with RED clay (Bela Ravikumar), a giant pair of RED satin hi-heel chairs (Linda Levy), oil paintings, watercolors, acrylic paintings, sculpture and assemblage pieces.
